Documentary Showing Atlanta
On Sunday, May 26, 2023 at 3:30 pm, A Time with Isadora presented the Atlanta premier of the project’s documentary A Time with Isadora: How One Artist Influences Many. The full length film by Carrie Miller was enjoyed by an audience of just over 50 at Atlanta’s historic theater, The Plaza Theatre. The film was followed by an artists talk which included the film maker: Carrie Miller, dance artists: Julie Feracota and Andie Knudson, designer: Margot McLaughlin, Movement Arts Atlanta’s director: Carolyn Stine McLaughlin and project photographer: John Ramspott.
The showing was also part of the Atlanta Preservation Center’s The Phoenix Flies: A Celebration of Atlanta’s Historic Sites.

Our name on The Plaza Theatre marque.

We offered guests our new promotional item, a book mark, which was designed by our project's Designer and Social Media Manager, Margot McLaughlin.

The entrance to the showing had our film's name on it, too.

The event included display of photographs by John Ramspott and the painting by Margaret Katz Nodine that inspired a dance of the project.

Guests were invited to write questions for the artists for the discussion.
